Not books or chapters or anything like that, but stories. For instance, Genesis has a number of stories (Creation, Flood, Tower of Babel), but Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John largely repeat the same stories with some variations.
So how many different Bible stories are there? I’d think one of those Christians who claims they have "studied the Bible for their whole life" might know the approximate answer.
