Explanations of bible stories?

I’ve seen people go to great lengths to explain how bible stories are based in fact. The one that always comes up is Noah’s Ark.

I was wondering if anyone had seen an attempt to scientifically explain the Jonah and the whale story because that seems even less feasible than Noah’s.

What are some Bible stories that have strong female characters?

Doing a holiday club at my church and we have to tell bible stories to children aged 5-13. All the usual has been done, acting it out, puppet shows, pictures on a "tv"…ect. Do you know of any exciting ways…to make them enjoy it and remember it? Thanks!:) p.s: eg: for the story of Philip

For an English project we have to give a 5 minute monologue as a character from the Bible.

I want points for thinking outside the box, for example, the goat that got sacrificed instead of whoever’s son that was, or the snake in Adam and Eve.

I’m not familiar with my Bible stories, at least not enough to do this justice. Can someone please link me to a youtube video or just simply explain a chapter of the Bible that would make for an interesting story-retelling?

I am non religious but I love to read and I have noticed a lot of references to bible stories. I also would like to educate myself further in the history of literature. What I am trying to say is what are some bible stories that are good to know, not nessacarily for religious purposes, but for the aspect of knowing my literature. For example, the story of Cain and Abel comes up a lot in literature throughout history- what other stories are good to know?

All Bible stories show the bias of the writer, like Paul with his dislike of homosexuals, so you can’t expect to find real truth in any Bible story.

I believe in a higher power (and only 1 higher power who created the earth and is watching over us) but i can not believe the bible stories. Where the hell should I look to figure out what I believe/what religion should I look into.
