i want to know why nursery rhymes like the Ring around the Rosie’s (the plague), london bridge is falling down (exactly as it sounds) rock a-by baby (falling babies) and many more are about death?

I know that "Ring Around the Rosey" has to do with the plague. I’d like to know what other rhymes were based on such historical events.
