In almost every scary movie or t.v. show, you will hear young children singing nursery rhymes (like Ring Around the Rosie and Rock a Bye Baby, ect.) I know I’m not the only one that has noticed this, and I’m wondering why people associate nursery rhymes with scary movies/shows.
Listening to my kid’s CD today and realized how funky the lyrics were. Ring around the rosie and London Bridge… Jack and Jill…. EEP. LoL I know what they all mean (most have to do with history…ex Black Plague) But why do we still sing them to our kids? Thanks Emina! What an awesome answer!
